Usability of the Bulk storage for Hydraulic Products:

Bulk Storage Container is used for Propulsion Containers on motor vehicles that provide the vehicle with a means of propulsion are considered motive power containers.

A few of the examples of motor vehicles which have containers used to individually provide their own means of propulsion between facilities include:

Best Practices in Bulk Lubricant Storage and Handling

In particular, contamination of newly commissioned storage and handling equipment include preservatives, paint, moisture, rust particles and fabrication debris such as dust, dirt, or welding spatter, machining swarf, drill turnings, blasting sand and casting sand.

In order to avoid contamination of bulk lubricants, appropriate care must be taken during manufacture, assembly, installation, servicing, repair, and conditioning of tanks and equipment.

However, before using, storage tanks needs to be thoroughly cleaned, scale-free and treated internally with a protective coating or sealant that is compatible with the lubricants these surfaces will contact.

Moreover, the tanks and vessels should be carefully dried and cleaned before they are charged with a lubricant to be stored.

To avoid product deterioration, lubricants should only be stored for a limited amount of time as advised by your lubricant supplier.
